Emergency crews were called to a Mandurah shopping centre carpark on Monday after reports a person had been hit by a car.
Police at the scene confirmed it was not a car accident that resulted in the woman's injuries.
At this stage it is confirmed a woman aged in her 40s was transported to Peel Health Campus.
It is believed the woman suffered injuries as a result of a drug overdose.
A second woman, also believed to have been involved in the drug use, was not transported by paramedics.
