A MAN shot by a police officer during a tense armed stand-off in Mandurah remains in a stable condition at Royal Perth Hospital.
The man, aged 65, will have a bedside hearing today charged with being armed to cause fear and possessing an unlicenced firearm/ammunition.
It will be alleged the man came to the front of his Myerick Street home property about 7pm Saturday night, carrying what was believed to be a rifle.
It will be further alleged the man was ordered multiple times to drop the weapon before he aimed the firearm at officers.
