A severe weather warning issued on Saturday for a Sunday morning storm has been cancelled.
The warning came after Mandurah recorded one of its hottest September days on record on Saturday, followed by one of the warmest nights.
By 8am, the wind speed was in the mid-60km/h range and the predicted storm appeared on track.
But the storm passed over quickly with just 17.4mm falling on the City; well short of the predicted 40mm maximum.
