PINJARRA came from 27 points down at half time to defeat Centrals in a grand final thriller at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
The Tigers, down for the majority of the match, hit the lead with minutes to go before best on-ground Dan Griffin helped Shane Norris slot the match winner to give Pinjarra the 14.7 (91) to 12.13 (85) win.
The match wasn't without controversy as Pinjarra hit the lead on the back of a soft free kick paid to Baron Kelly directly in front.
But it was to be the Tigers' day despite Matt Battye's inaccuracy in front of goal in the last term.
Battye had three consecutive behinds as Pinjarra desperately attempted to close the margin, and a fourth behind minutes later before Norris could level scores.
Despite pushing numbers back, Brendan Carlson snapped and goaled for Centrals to bring the scores back level late in the match before Norris' second goal in the last sealed the match for Pinjarra.
Griffin finished his day with three second half goals.
The loss will come as a huge disappointment to Mundijong who were touted pre-season favourites on the back of some strong recruiting.
But for Pinjarra, it is back-to-back titles and plenty of celebration.
