A Wilson woman has been charged after allegedly going on a spending spree of more than $384,000 with 50 fraudulently obtained credit cards.
Major Fraud Squad detectives arrested the 55-year-old woman after applications made to two banks for credit cards using false details and alias names.
Police will allege the woman used fictitious names and addresses on her applications to the financial institutions, which had issued 50 credit cards based on the false information provided.
It will also be alleged the woman used the cards to purchase goods and services, obtaining credit to a sum of $384,058 from December 2009 to September 2013.
The woman has been charged with 47 counts of gaining benefit by fraud, 12 charges of causing detriment and eight counts of attempted fraud.
She is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on October 27.
