MANDURAH water police and emergency services were called to Silver Sands beach on Sunday afternoon after a boat upturned.
The incident happened about 3.30pm near the Henson Street carpark.
Police and St John Ambulance said two people were in the boat when it was hit by a wave just off shore.
The boat overturned, trapping a young woman inside it.
The female was rescued and taken to Peel Health Campus with minor injuries.
