WIND and rain will not stop South Halls Head Primary School students from having fun with the addition of café blinds around the undercover assembly area.
The school received a $1200 grant from Telstra Kids Fund to purchase and install the blinds.
Telstra country wide area general manager for Perth south Nicola Swarbrick said Telstra Kids Fund grants are about backing the little things that can make a big difference.
“All around Australia, kids are building on ideas, playing in a team, making music and creating art,” she said.
“But sometimes little projects, such as South Halls Head Primary School’s outdoor upgrades, need a bit of a hand to get started.”
The donation if part of the Telstra Foundation’s one million-dollar per year commitment to helping local communities.
