A man who pleaded guilty to 16 theft and related crimes will await his sentencing hearing in custody.
Gerrard Mathew Lupton appeared in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday and entered guilty pleas to all charges.
No bail application was made on his behalf.
The court heard Mr Lupton was caught in April this year in possession of $2000 worth of copper cabling, a stolen Mastercard, ammunition, a stolen Burswood club card, Bankwest card and construction card all belonging to the same person, pepper spray, multiple stolen Shell fuel cards and stolen goods including two GPS devices, electronic tools and a mobile phone.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing ecstasy and a smoking implement found during the same Silver Sands property search as the other stolen goods.
At a second search just three months later, Mr Lupton was found in possession of a stolen Jaycar video recorder valued at $399, a .22 calibre bolt action rifle which had been illegally modified to hide the serial number, associated ammunition, a stolen motorcycle and tools which Mr Lupton originally pleaded not guilty to possessing.
He told the court the tools found were "his tools" but after speaking with his counsel, changed his plea to guilty.
Mr Lupton was remanded in custody to reappear at his sentencing hearing on October 3.
