SCIENCE was the focus this week with Austin Cove Baptist College primary school students taking part in a range of fun activities.
On Tuesday students from years one to six took up the task of building bridges.
Year one to three students used straws and masking tape to construct bridges between desks and years four to six stepped it up a notch with raw spaghetti and hot glue.
There were also lessons focusing on food security in the future, special incursions where students could take part in experiments and a visit from SciTech representatives.
This is the first time the initiative has run at Austin Cove and was part of National Science Week celebrations.
