BALDIVIS is on the verge of finals football following a big win over Mandurah.
In a high scoring first quarter which saw 15 goals scored, Baldivis was able to take an 18-point lead into the first break.
Baldivis continued to score heavily in the second to lead by 31 points at half-time.
The Brumbies put the result beyond doubt in the third with nine unanswered goals.
The final margin was 85 points which helped lift Baldivis into the top five.
Adam Radici kicked seven goals for the Brumbies.
Baldivis now have a do-or-die clash against South Mandurah this weekend with the winner set to play in the finals.
A draw would still see the Brumbies make the finals due to their superior percentage.
Halls Head returned to the winners list with a 39-point win over South Mandurah.
The Lightning increased their lead at every change with a majority of the damage done in a seven- goal to three third quarter.
John Bennell kicked six goals to be the leading goal scorer for Halls Head.
Brad Holmes booted four for South Mandurah.
Rockingham’s disappointing season continued with a 105-point loss to league leaders Mundijong.
Leading by 26 pints at quarter time, Mundijong held Rockingham goalless in the next two quarters to lead by 83 points at three-quarter time.
Ryan Murphy kicked five goals to be Centrals’ leading goal scorer.
Mundijong remain in first position but could still slip to second if they lose to Pinjarra next week in a crucial clash.
Alan Wilson kicked nine goals to help lead Waroona to a big win against third-placed Pinjarra on Sunday.
Waroona led by 30 points at three-quarter time but were able to ram home the advantage in the final quarter to run out 54-point winners.
Justin Giumelli was also dangerous for the Demons with five goals.
Waroona and Pinjarra both remain in second and third positions following the result.
In the Reserves, Baldivis thrashed Mandurah, South Mandurah defeated Halls Head, Centrals defeated Rockingham and Waroona were too strong for Pinjarra.
In the Colts, Mandurah defeated Baldivis, Halls Head got the better of South Mandurah, Rockingham thrashed the Centrals and Waroona defeated Pinjarra.
In the last game before finals Rockingham play Halls Head, South Mandurah take on Baldivis, Centrals come up against Pinjarra and Waroona play Mandurah.
