THE South Mandurah Football Club will be celebrating one of its biggest celebrations in its 32 year history on August 24.
Club stalwart Sol Daw is set to play his 300th game when South Mandurah come-up against the Baldivis Brumbies in the final round before finals.
Daw will become only the second player in the history of the Alcoa Peel Football League to reach the milestone and the first for the South Mandurah Falcons.
Daw started playing football as a 17-year-old with the Falcon Colts in 1998 and has played continuously.
In his 16 years at the club, 34-year-old Daw has won two league premierships and is not ready to hang up the boots as he looks to play on in 2015.
Daw said his biggest joy during his time playing is the camaraderie of the playing mates.
The South Mandurah Football Club invites all past players, supporters and friends to the game to recognise his milestone at 2pm prior to the start of the League game.
