Taoriba Biniati leaves behind a man's world

Taoriba Biniati might well have had the most interesting path to the Glasgow boxing ring as any competitor. The teenage lightweight, from the tiny Pacific island of Kiribati, hasn't fought a single woman in the ring, only men. "I have no problem with fighting boys, so I'm looking forward to fighting a woman," she told news agency Reuters. She fights Mauritian Isabelle Ratna in the opening round and is confident she can win her first all-female bout.
