Pinjarra woman fined after dogs attack livestock
A WOMAN was fined $4000 in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday after her three dogs attacked multiple sheep and rams.
On June 23 the three dogs entered a Moors Road, Pinjarra property and attacked more than 16 sheep, one of which was fatally injured and several others received injuries to their throats.
The owner of the property fired at the dogs with a shotgun but they ran away.
The dogs were later handed to the Shire of Murray and the court heard they were euthanased.
Magistrate Vivien Edwards fined the dog owner $4000 and ordered $600 in compensation to be paid to the owner of the stock.
