One of Britain’s leading doctors recently called for communities to switch to a three-day weekend saying it will enhance health, wellbeing, family, society and economy.
Morris Miselowski said three days off would mean more time to relax and unwind, and would provide the ability to be more efficient and focused for four days of work.
It would also provide the opportunity for other people to be hired to cover the remaining days.
Mr Miselowski has explored the notion in detail and concluded in the next few years the notion of the weekend concluding a standard five-day week and 9am-5pm jobs would all become obsolete as society moves into a world which works on a project and task basis.
He believes getting things done as, where and when they need to be done will be the norm, rather than trying to shoehorn it into an industrial revolution constructed work week.
