ACT Belong Commit Circus Joseph Ashton is somersaulting into Mandurah for four weeks of affordable family fun from June 8-22.
The circus, known for its iconic big top, colourful characters and exciting acts, is looking forward to bringing traditional circus with a contemporary twist back to the area.
Joseph Ashton said his circus had a lot to offer families.
“It’s very affordable live entertainment,” he said.
“We want families to come along, forget all their troubles and have fun with us for a while.”
Audiences will laugh through the Ashton brothers’ knockabout routine and be kept on the edge of their seats as Jordan Ashton presents one of the only legendary triple somersault on the flying trapeze in an Australian circus, and Joseph Ashton performs the forward somersault on the outside of the Wheel of Death.
The entertainment will continue with a mixture of classic and contemporary acts, from trapeze act The Flying Ashtons, jugglers and acrobats, to dogs and the mischievous Goldie the Clown.
Pre-performance demonstrations will include Joseph and Dante reviving an old family tradition of trick-riding.
The circus box office and the big top open 45 minutes before each show, with a canteen, laughing clowns and show bags available.
Pony rides will also be available during interval.
Ticket sell fast, so Ashton recommended people book in advance.
Shows are at Hall Park on June 13-14, and 20-21 at 7.30pm, June 8, 14-15 and 21 at 1pm, June 8 and 15 at 4pm, and June 22 at noon.
