Mr Litchfield died after being attacked on March 17, 2013 as he walked home from the City centre after Crab Fest and St Patrick’s Day festivities.
Originally charged with murder, the boys whose ages range from 14 to 17, have been in custody for close to a year.
The boys were part of a group of youths, some of whom set upon Mr Litchfield and following an attempted pick-pocketing, assault and chase by the group, Mr Litchfield fell from a carpark wall.
The 28-year-old sailmaker died later in hospital.
Six boys were initially charged with his murder.
One had his case thrown out during a month-long trial in the Perth District Court and another was found not guilty of any offence.
