FOUR boys found guilty last month of the manslaughter of Mandurah man Tauri Litchfield will be sentenced today.
Originally charged with murder, the boys have been in custody for close to a year following the tragic death on March 17, 2013 of the 28-year-old sailmaker.
The boys, whose ages range from 14 to 17, were part of a group of youths, some of whom set upon Mr Litchfield on Pinjarra Road as he walked home from the city centre after Crab Fest and St Patrick's Day festivities.
Following an attempted pick-pocketing, assault and chase by the group, Mr Litchfield fell from a carpark wall.
He died later in hospital.
Six boys were initially charged with his murder.
One had his case thrown out during a month-long trial in the Perth District Court.
Another was found not guilty of any offence.
The remaining four will face court tomorrow morning.
The Mandurah Mail will be live tweeting the sentencing.
