THOUSANDS of people are expected to gather at Anzac Day commemorations across the Peel region on Friday.
The City of Mandurah RSL sub-branch will hold its dawn service at 5.45am at the war memorial at the Western foreshore, Leighton Road, Mandurah.
Following the service there will be a breakfast at the 22 Third Avenue, Mandurah at cost of $5.
At 9.30am participants for the parade will gather on Pinjarra Road between Leslie Street and the Old Mandurah Bridge and the parade will commence at 10.30am, accompanied by the North Metro Pipe Band.
The parade will travel to the war memorial at the Western foreshore for another ceremony.
All are then invited to return to the City of Mandurah RSL sub-branch on Third Avenue for refreshments.

In Dawesville there will be a dawn service at 6am at the foreshore, Estuary Road Dawesville.
This will be followed by a free breakfast at 7am in the Norn Smith Room of the Port Bouvard Recreation and Sporting Club, Thisbie Drive, Wannanup.

In Pinjarra there will be a dawn service at 6am, at 10.30am the parade will form up in Henry Street to depart at 10.45am and 11am there will be a service at the memorial on Pinjarra Road, Pinjarra.
There will be a sausage sizzle, raffles, a money wheel and entertainment.
