Peel Football League finals to be broadcast

THE Alcoa Peel Football League and 1116 6MM have joined forces for the 2012 finals round series which begins on Sunday, August 26.

1116 6mm will broadcast one league match per week for the first two weeks of the finals, and will provide an ‘around the grounds’ service to the other match, then comprehensive coverage of the Preliminary Final and Grand final on Sunday, September 16.

All football followers in the Peel region will be able to follow the matches whether on 1116 6MM, or streaming at 6mm.com.au with one of the most closely contested finals series being broadcasted live to air each week through Mandurah, Pinjarra, Waroona, Harvey and north to Rockingham, Mundijong and Baldivis.

The commentary team will be headed up by Jack Crawshaw, with former Peel Thunder senior coach Trevor Williams and WAFL premiership player Steve Bazzo providing in-depth play by ball analysis and commentary each week.

Details of the broadcasts for the August 26 and September 2 will be announced when fixtures are finalised at the end of the home and away season.
