A 17-year-old male who allegedly escaped from Banksia Hill Detention Centre on August 2 was apprehended Wednesday night in Ravenswood.
The South East Metropolitan District Crime Team arrested the teenager after swooping on a hotel unit about 6pm.
The boy was with three women.
He has been charged with escaping lawful custody, aggravated armed robbery, stealing a motor vehicle, reckless driving, two counts of driving without a licence and failing to report an accident.
He appeared before the Perth Children’s Court on Thursday.
An 18-year-old Thornlie woman, a 22-year-old woman from Cooloongup and a 44-year-old Mandurah woman have each been charged with aiding an escapee. They will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court at a later date.
