SINGLETON boy, Sam Sieracki, will be a part of greatness during this week’s Toyota AFL Grand Final.
He is among 22 lucky NAB AFL Auskickers who were selected ahead of almost 8000 applicants from around Australia, chosen to participate in an unforgettable three day Toyota AFL Grand Final experience.
Sam, a participant at the North Mandurah NAB AFL Auskick centre and will arrive in Melbourne on Thursday to begin the experience of a lifetime.
The trip kicks off with the NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year Awards Dinner at the MCG, where the Auskicker of the Year will be announced.
The ultimate winner will receive Geelong star Joel Selwood as a personal football mentor in 2014 and win $5000.
On Friday, Sam will take to the streets of Melbourne to walk in the traditional Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade alongside the Dockers and Hawks.
On game day Sam will live the dream of every young fan when he plays Auskick on the MCG prior to the grand final.
After the game he will get the opportunity present a premiership medal to a player from the winning team in front of 100,000 fans and millions of television viewers.
Sam’s dad, Anthony Sieracki, said he can’t stop talking about his trip to Melbourne and has been counting down until the three day NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year experience begins.
“I can’t wait to go to Melbourne to present the medals to the winning team,” Sam said.
“I hope that all my friends will see me on TV.
“I’m also very excited about meeting the other winners.”
