DETECTIVES from the Regional Investigation Unit are calling for the public’s assistance in locating two men who escaped from the Banksia Youth Detention Centre about 10.30 this morning.
The men, aged 17 and 18 years of age, are believed to be in a stolen white Toyota Hilux registration number 1952BU stolen from within the complex.
The 17-year-old man is described as dark skinned, 170cm tall, medium build, brown hair and olive complexion.
The 18-year-old man is described as 176cm tall, slim build, brown eyes, dark complexion.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or can provide further information is urged to call police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
