TO celebrate 50 years of LEGO bricks in Australia, LEGO Education is excited to bring the Festival of Play to primary schools with the launch of the LEGO Learning Inspiration competition.
One regional primary school from each state has the chance to win a special visit by Australia’s only LEGO-certified professional builder who will bring each winner’s entry to life on a grand scale.
Schools can enter by requesting a free LEGO Learning Inspiration kit and challenging their students to build a LEGO creation based on something they have learnt at school this year.
To enter, teachers are required to email legoeducationau@gmail.com and they will be sent a LEGO Learning Inspiration kit that contains 20 assorted LEGO bricks.
Teachers will then need to upload a picture of the students’ creation (in a real-life setting or one they design) along with a short description and contact information to the LEGO Education Learning Inspiration group on Flickr.
All photos must be submitted by September 14, 2012.
One winner from each state will be announced on September 21, 2012 and winning schools will be contacted by telephone or email.
