POLICE are seeking witnesses to last night’s tragic hit and run in Lakelands which left a 41-year-old man dead.
The incident happened on Catalina Drive near Yindana Boulevard about 6.30pm.
According to reports a domestic dispute preceded the hit and run.
The driver of the vehicle fled immediately after the crash and the victim died at Peel Health Campus after sustaining massive injuries.
Major Crime detectives are investigating and are seeking public help in finding a blue Nissan Navara tray top utility, registration 1AYR 269 in connection with the incident.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Police are reportedly speaking with three people believed to be of interest, however officers won’t say yet if any charges have been laid.
A section of Catalina Drive is still closed to the public.
