POLICE are on the hunt for an assailant or assailants following an attack in Dudley Park this evening.
According to a police spokesperson the "very serious assault" happened about 7pm on Dadger Street.
Details are sketchy at this stage and it is not yet known if the victim is male or female.
Police have cordoned off the house where the assault happened and the police air wing have been called in to help with the search for the offender/s.
No weapon has been found at this stage.
