WESTERN Power's electricity network has withstood the brunt of last night's storm, experiencing far fewer power interruptions than on Sunday.
Currently approximately 27,000 properties are without power.
Nearly 10,000 of those remain off from the weekend's severe weather front.
Western Power crews worked throughout the night restoring thousands of customers as the storm front moved up from the south west corner through the metropolitan area and up the coast.
Most of the damage occurred in the Margaret River and Augusta area where more than 6000 customers were impacted by 7pm last night.
Many of those properties had power restored by the early hours of this morning.
Only 30 wires appear to have been brought down in the last storm front compared with nearly 800 power lines, streetlight wires and individual customer service lines on Sunday.
The areas with the most customers affected from Tuesday night’s storm are:
Thornlie - 1800
Wangara - 1800
Sorrento - 1000
Yallingup - 1000
Serpentine - 900
Rockingham - 750
