HANK Verdoes celebrated his 90th birthday with his family at a local restaurant on Saturday, June 2.
Born in Holland, Hank has lived in Mandurah for about 25 years and is pictured here with his son, Robert, two granddaughters, Melanie and Lisa and his two oldest grandchildren Amber Smoje and Mike Allen.
As a long-time member of the Mandurah Paddling Club, Hank enjoyed a week of special treatment and cakes from his fellow members, so didn’t want any more cake at his birthday dinner.
The only thing Hank wanted for his birthday was to spend time with his family, which he enjoyed greatly.
