 Preserve the areas

Preserve the areas

I AGREE that the Sutton Farm should be kept for all future generations along with the old Vision Gardens in Waroona that was sold a few years ago to developers.

Nothing has been done with this once beautiful garden area along with a replica of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Being a gardener I hate to see it getting run down.

It was a draw card to Waroona for tourists and I believe that the local Shire and tourist authorities should buy it back and revamp it.

I am willing to volunteer my time as a part time helper with 50 years of horticulture up my sleeve with some advice to help it get back to the days of old.

Saving Sutton Farm should be a "no brainer". Why is it that our community members have to spend so much time and energy lobbying a council to take a position that should taken by default anyway?

Why do they appear to be controlled by developers like a puppet on strings.

Act with the courage, strength and integrity that your constituents expect of you in representing us.

The community benefits most now and in the future by preserving this piece of history. Show us that you too have pride in our cityand its roots over yet another conglomerate of bricks and mortar!
