I WAS walking along near Simmos (on the Mandurah foreshore) when we noticed brown water gushing from the area in front of the senior citizens’ centre.
By the time we walked around to investigate, thinking possibly a water main had broken we noticed the water was now in fact rushing back in.
We watched for sometime and noticed every five minutes the directing or the rushing water changed.
The water level was noted to rise and fall about six inches.
This continued all day.
It wasas the same along the foreshore just less noticeable. It became less forceful by the end of the day.
I was wondering if anyone can help tell me why this was happening.
I am curious as this was very odd behaviour.
