BETWEEN Mandurah Council and the contractors, I think they are knocking down too many old buildings around our town.
They are talking about doing away with Sutton Farm, which has been on this site for years, plus the castles on vacant land.
Sutton Farm is on a nicely kept and tidy bit of land and far as the old castles go on the vacant land, they should be cleaned up and be planted with nice grass or grass seed to grow, so people and tourists can walk around and take photos of them.
They are talking about replacing Sutton Farm with units or high rise flats.
I say leave them along, they are under local heritage.
I’m hoping other people living in Mandurah agree with me.
#Editor’s note: The buildings at the farm will not be demolished. The issue is the land around the farm buildings.
