 Go for bus feeder service

Go for bus feeder service

02 Jul, 2009 08:50 AM
IT looks like Mandurah MLA David Templeman has a wish list to extend the railway through to Halls Head.

Yet when Labor was in government not one dollar was spend on rural country railway maintenance.

Hence we now have more of the wheat harvest cropped moved to road transport.

Obviously Mr Templeman does not listen to his constituents who have to endure that crazy three lane Estuary Bridge (another Brian Burke disaster).

I will be writing to Transport Minister Simon O’Brien to establish another priority study.

I am fed up with politicians living in fantasy land.

How about a free bus service from the station through the town to Halls Head then return through Dudley Park via the shopping centre to the station.

Then we can leave the car at home to reduce the traffic problem in town.

Better still how about a post office agency in Halls Head with a major department store so we can shop locally and have time to play with the toy train set at home.
