THE West Coast Eagles Football Club will travel to Mandurah next Thursday for a two-day trip as part of the AFL Community Camp program.
The entire squad will arrive in the morning and will kick off their visit with trips to local schools before an open training session and autograph opportunity at Bendigo Bank Stadium at 4pm.
The event is free.
Later in the evening the team will be officially welcomed to Mandurah at a civic reception and will then entertain locals with a panel night at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

The boys will be up early the following morning to host a super clinic for school children in Pinjarra before visiting aged care facilities and hospitals.
Over the two days the team will be visiting more than 35 schools, hospitals and aged care facilities including Mandurah Primary School, Safety Bay Primary School, Ocean Reef Primary School, Mandurah Senior College, Pinjarra Senior High School, Murray District Hospital, Bedingfeld Aged Care, Peel Health Campus, Greenfields Aged Care and Mandurah Care Facility.
The club will also be involved in a ‘Life After Football’ orientation workshop from 3-6.30pm on the Thursday at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
This workshop is designed to target former players and encourage them to take roles of coaches, umpires, committee members and trainers.
West Coast staff, WA Football League umpires, Peel Thunder staff and Peel District local administrators will present information sessions to all former players aspiring to continue their football careers in these areas to give local clubs a boost.
