THE Mandurah Lions Club will host its annual Walk for Sight event on the eastern foreshore this Sunday morning from 8.30am.
Organisers are hoping to surpass last year’s total of $3000 with money going to the Lions Save Sight Foundation of Western Australia to combat blindness.
Mandurah Lions Club Save Sight chairman Wally Barrett said the walk was held in many countries as well as around Perry Lakes in Perth.
The 5km walk starts and finishes at the rotunda where Lions members will provide drinks and a sausage sizzle for all participants.
Walkers can obtain sponsor forms by calling Mr Barrett at home on 9531 2339 or by making a donation any time.
Receipts will be issued for all donations which are tax deductible.
All money goes direct to the foundation with no loss in administration costs.
