Juveniles mar big weekend

11 Mar, 2010 09:01 AM
AN OTHERWISE major incident-free Crab Fest weekend was marred by a number of unsupervised juveniles causing headaches for police according to Peel Superintendent Pryce Scanlan.

“Parents need to be fully aware of where their children are and what they are doing at all times,” he said.

“The impact unsupervised children have on police resources at major events is huge.”

Apart from some minor incidents, there was little trouble over the weekend and police congratulated the majority of the public.
