Home security warning

11 Mar, 2010 09:01 AM
POLICE are still warning to people to ensure their homes are adequately secured following a spate of burglaries in the Mandurah area.

Inspector Peter Branchi said offenders were entering houses while occupants slept and stealing car keys and wallets.

“I am urging people to lock up their homes,” he said.

“It’s just a matter of time before occupants and offenders are involved in a confrontation and this is something I do not want to see happen.”

Anyone with information about burglaries or car thefts in the local area is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
