Car on fire at shopping centre

Fire fighters were called to the carpark at the Centro Halls Head shopping centre this morning to extinguish a car on fire.

The yellow older style Volkswagen was completely gutted by the fire.

It is understood a couple of people ran into the shopping centre and grabbed fire extinguihsers in an attempt the put out the flames, but they kept flaring up.
