LOCAL shoppers were lucky to escape injury when a car slammed into the window of Woolworths on Sholl Street in central Mandurah on Monday afternoon.
The accident happened at 12.45pm.
It is believed the driver of the vehicle was an elderly male who hit the accelerator instead of the brake before hitting the plate glass shopfront.
